Aw, thanks for posting this! Kris was taking this competition (with 75% of the vote) as early as 7 a.m. this morning when I cast my online ballot for Kris Allen's The Truth. If Bob took the round, I'm guessing he has some very loyal fans--plus the support of a number of third-party fans who still have a S8 score to settle.

Masieta--I agree.
With Allison, Keith Urban, the trio of Lady A, and even with Danny on AI, Kris is obviously respectful of the other performers. I think he wants it to be good, really good! But he seems rather selfless about it all. As long as the critical melodic points get covered and they do justice to the artist's song/music, he's OK with others getting the glory. That's the thing I find in common about all these appearances. He's so respectful of the other performers and the material. It's all about the music with Kris. And bringing that music to life.

Slezak's questions were pointed, smart, and generous. Kris was cautious when it comes to the single, generously diplomatic when it comes to label and management, and clearly appreciative of his smart and loyal fans. I think he gets us!
