I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

Kris adds a smooth classy soulful vibe to his music! I love to hear him sing! I took my kids & met up with another group to see Kris in Little Rock for his hometown visit during American Idol. We were so excited to see him! I am not sure who was more excited, my kids, or myself!

Kris' personality makes you love him even more. Considering the platform in which we got to know him, many people would not be so caring and humble. I hate to use that word because it has been used so much. But, it is the perfect word to describe him. I don't want to sound like I know him personally, but I feel like I do. Why, I am not sure, other than maybe the countless hours I spent watching Idol, the web, and encouraging everyone to vote every week! (I think my husband may think I am a little insane right about now.)

All you have to do is get to know the person that is the idol just a little bit, listen to "Ain't No Sunshine", "Heartless", & "Falling Slowly". If you do that, you can't help but become a fan for life!

I just wanted to add this note I received from one of our elementary teachers here in Rison after Kris won Idol. It will let you know in a small way just how much Kris' trip through the Idol experience affected me!

Linnie Smith Grice: Kathy, you deserve a front row seat when Idol comes to Little Rock this summer. I hope Kris will be appreciative of your efforts. You kept everyone pumped up until the end...and it paid off!
