I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
Kris Allen is my second cousin. HONESTLY, I have never met him before. I grew up knowing his dad, Niel (my 1st cousin) I am a fan BECAUSE when I found out I had a relative that was going to be on American Idol, I was amused. When I heard him sing...I was EXCITED! There was a look on his face that I instantly recognized as humbleness. Then as I spoke with my father and heard more stories about him...I became INTERESTED. Who was this cousin I'd never met? What kind of man is he...??? Well, I learned that this cousin I'd never met was an extremely talented person. What kind of man is he...I learned he was a new husband to a beautiful and loving wife...and a faithful servant of The Lord. I started watching American Idol every week....I saw such a genuine personality...So...I am excited....INSANELY EXCITED that Kris is the New American Idol!!!!
