Vote for The Truth on VH1's Top 20 Countdown!
The video for The Truth has been added to the VH1 Top 20 Countdown! Let's get The Truth to #1!!

JustMe2: We know that it didn't get dropped because it didn't make rotation. It was announced that it was dropped the week that it made #9 on the rotation. And then it wasn't available to be voted on this week.
But, yeah, since VH1 hasn't said why, they made it look (on tv) like the reason that it didn't make it was because it didn't get enough votes and that's just annoying because it isn't true.
But that's par for the course when it comes to how this single has been treated across the board.
but why would label pull it even if new single was coming? A lot of artists have two singles/videos going at the same time...and if it was doing well on the countdown that could only translate into more exposure for Kris even if new single coming. On the other hand that would be quite a drop for video to go from leap of week to not making rotation, . Are videos listed according to the week just ended or do they run a complete week behind the voting? ..hmmmm...definitely a mystery no matter how you try to reason......
We are still trying to figure out if it was VH1 or Kris' management that had the video removed. It ended up at #9 last Friday. On the previous day (Thursday), we found out that the video was not going to be included in the list for the next week. I am hoping that it was pulled because there may be plans for a third single. (Keeping my fingers crossed!!). The timing of the video was just too late since a lot of the radio stations had stopped playing it on the radio. It is really a shame since it is such a beautiful video and it made leap of the week the previous week from #12 to #5. If anybody finds out, please let us know. Thanks.
I have been out of pocket so I am trying to catch up and I am totally confused. Was TT removed by Kris' label or management? Or was it removed from rotation cuz it did not get enough votes? I have been so out of the loop and can't seem to find the facts as to exactly what happened.......
Has any of Kris' team been brave enough to tell the masses WHY his video was pulled from VH1 after 4 weeks of being in the Top 20, two of which were in the Top 10?
It makes no sense to me whatsoever. Unfortunately I don't believe it's because there will be a new single. LLWD is still showing up charts and several other artists have more than one song and some have two videos.
So unless Jive or SONY would like to enlighten us, I can only speculate on what is happening.
I'm not sure why, but for some reason I feel Kris' career is being undermined. Why on earth would they pull TT on VH1? It was the leap of the week last week and only fell a few spots this week. I won't pretend to know much about the music business, but I do know this doesn't make any sense. Kris is an extremely talented artist and I thought his cd was a success from beginning to end. Seems as if his promoters are extremely bad at what they do, or they just don't care. Would love to see AWM as his next single. Either way, the fans are the ones who miss out. I'll just keep playing my KA cd, requesting his singles on radio and music shows, and wait for the next one, which I'm sure will be equally as awesome, whether the rest of the world ever knows it or not.
I seriously do not understand why. It doesn't make any sense to me that they just yanked it like that. At this point, it seems like the video was just wasted money for Kris, which makes me sad after all that his people did to screw around with the song.
The Truth has been removed from the VH1 Top20 Video Countdown voting list.
TT’s video was removed form rotation on vh1 starting from next week. I really hope that this means that a new single will about to be announced.
I hope that this week it will be ranked as high or higher than last week' so it will leave the countdown on a good note.

I'm not sure exactly how it's determined, but both today and yesterday The Truth is #2 on VH1's Hot List of Today's Top Music Videos on the VH1 homepage

I tried the link too. It is going to Today's Latest Videos instead of Kris' video. I tweeted VH1 and KAaddicts.com. Hopefully somebody will fix it.
I went to the VH1 Top 20 site to vote and watch The Truth and for some reason it wouldn't play the video!!!! I tried for over an hour and it kept sending me to a different page. I would click on all the other videos and it would load and play them. Couldn't find anywhere to report this, maybe some of you more savy VH1 folks can report it and get it corrected! I hope this doesn't affect Kris' climb up the Countdown to #1!!!!!

IKR? This is just proof of what a terrible mistake it was to have delayed the shooting of the music video so long. If the video had come out earlier, its climb up the VH1 Top 20 might have helped it out more on radio.
It's great that the video is doing so well at VH1 - I wish that would help the song on the radio more, though.
WOW! LEAP OF THE WEEK! I got so nervous watching this show since they kept adding new premiers during the show. As the numbers kept getting past #10, I was afraid, even to the point of crying that TT fell off the chart. When Jim announced that it was the Leap of the Week, I started crying again but this time from tears of joy! So happy for Kris!. Let's keep it going and get Kris to #1.

The Truth music video should be moving to the MTVHITS playlist next week. That will give it a little more exposure. It will be in the UNLEADED ROTATION (10-12 plays/week).

Yes! Kris is at #17 this week! I stayed up until 3:10am to watch the countdown so I could see it debut!
I think it will really climb the charts now cuz it just was so good. I have to confess I like it better than LLWD and am so excited now that it is on the Countdown!
