Kris Allen's Solo Tour!
So this thread is basically your thoughts about Kris touring on his own. We can talk about the places you'd like him to tour, whether you're planning to go, and anything else related to this topic!
This section having no threads was kind of making me sadface, so this seemed like a good idea! Let's hope it doesn't get deleted like the rest by the trolls!

I'm really hoping he does a solo show in New England at some point next year! He has yet to do one here
All of these radio shows aren't cutting it anymore!
I went to the Memphis TN show and while we were waiting to meet him at his tourbus, there was a camera recording everything. Does anyone know if theyll make a DVD with all the concerts or what the camera was for?

Has anyone heard about any kind of official fan club with early entry or meet and greet??!! I lost my parents this past year, and Kris's album really got me through. He's coming to Denver on 11/14 ~ the day after my mom died last year. It would mean so much to meet him. Has anyone got to do this??

Chicago wants you back Kris !!!! Like Kratti, I selfishly hope he does a small venue with only Kris' fans there, but I'm realize it would be best to broaden his fanbase and open for someone...What's the deal with the Keith Urban thing??? He got cut off from talking about the other day... People I know want to buy tickets, but not if they're not positive Kris is on the bill.....What's the Deal Management???? All the good seats will by gone before you make an official announcement.....come on.....please??
I guess there is nothing on his show last night in San Jose. Tried like hell to win tickets. Even tried bribing the radio station for a couple since I lived 3 hours away. Didnt work :>( Now im thinking Pasa Robles later in the year. Sure wish he would get a little closer to home
Kris seriously needs to come to Pittsburgh! He is already coming to Hershy and Allentown, but they are on the other side of the state! If only I had a car with lots of gas and tons of money ARGHH!

I can't wait for the tour! It's gonna be amazing! I really hope that he'll go to Denmark! I'm a huge fan and I'm tired of watching concert videos lol, I'd like to see it live!
I really hope he tours alone, to smaller venues. I'd love to see him in a smaller place, that's packed with people who all came to see Kris! I can see the benefit to opening for a bigger name, and winning over new fans. He did that at a lot of the Krismas radio shows, and I think it worked well. LLWD is still climbing the charts. But, for selfish reasons, I would love for him to tour alone, or be the headliner.

I kept trying to get tickets to him on david letterman and i didnt get selected, i was thinking of camping out outside and begging them to let me in lol I <3333 Kris. I know he said he is touring in feb and i already put in on ticketmaster to aware me before tickets go on sale, so fyi everyone go to ticketmaster.com and type in kris allen then it will say no dates yet and will let you add to favorites, you simply type in your email and it will mail you when dates are released. Although im super paranoid and im afraid it wont tell me so i search around every day.
I would <3 for kris to come to long island or madison square garden in nyc. IDC where, I'll be there!

Im just waiting for some California dates. I guess he did play in Sacramento and I heard not one word about it till the day of the show and was to late. But I will go see him at any venue. Thought the whole accoustic idea was pretty brave and he did a fantastic job of it

Kris will be at 104.5 XLO Acoustic XMas bash on December 7th at Mechanics Hall in Worcester, MA. Also performing are Barenaked Ladies, Ingrid Michaelson, and Joshua Radin. (Tickets for E-club members: 10/30 @ 10am; Public sale: 11/02 @ 10am)
Does anyone know if Kris is playing in Worcester Massachuetts Dec7th? I heard a promo on the radio but I don't see the event listed on Kris's website?
He needs to come & perform here in Reno, Nevada. Kelly & Carrie are regulars here, while David Archuleta came during his last solo tour & I think someone else from AI came...

@Fan62: Sorry, this site doesn't update the "Events Section". However, one of our own members decided to make a post in the Kris Allen Discussion section of all of the events Kris will be at. So you can look through that...it's filled with things like show appearances, and performance dates.
Hope this helps. We're trying to contact the site Webmasters through the feedback mail system telling them to update the Events Section. So you try doing that as well...
Ps- It's THIS Kris Allen that will be performing at the Z100 concert...not the other country singer.
When idols come to the New York area they seem to stick to medium-size venues, for some reason even Kelly and Daughtry can't book the Pru Center or MSG yet (WHY??), so I assume Kris also will go for smaller/medium-size sites. Soooo, Kris please don't forget the interior of NJ has some cool spots like the Morristown Community Theater. The Long Island sites and Manhattan music clubs are a royal pain to get to unless you live in the city (we're talking 4+ hours even from only 80 miles away). Eastern PA has some good places in Allentown and Scranton too and good for us North Jersey fans to get to.
P.S. I wish the newsletter would announce Kris' appearance schedule on talk shows and such and why didn't it announce that he is going to be part of the Z100 concert in NYC on 12/11??? Unless it is the 'country' Kris Allen (could be?) - I just found out about it and of course ticketmaster doesn't have tickets available anymore after only one and 1/2 days!! Ugh.
I'm wondering if Kris will play songs from "Brand New Shoes" on the tour. It would be really nice if he did! I would probably pass out if he sang "Wipe It Away"!
Rangy Leigh....I love that you asked for Kris to come to the UP of Michigan. I was hoping he would make it to the surrounding Detroit area and I think that I was asking for alot!!! We need to at least ask though, don't we????? Saulte St. Marie is about 5 hours from me and Houghton is about 9 hours from me approx....it would be great if he could make it to all our requested places,...wouldn't it!!!

I would like to put in a request for tour locations. You should come to Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We usually tand to get overlooked by most (although REO will be here in January and Dierks Bentley is playing here as I type!!) but most artists don't come up here. We would love to have you. The most popular place for concerts up here is the Island Resort and Casino in Curtis, MI. There are also a few colleges up here if you decide to go that route, Michigan Tech. University and Nothern Michigan University are the most common. Can't wait for your album to come out and your tour to begin.

If he has a concert close enough to where I live, I'm going no matter what!
He said in that recent interview that he's probably touring in February, but he wasn't sure if it would be on his own, doing college towns or small clubs, or if he would be an opener for a bigger name band. Either way, I'm going.
I already have tickets for his Dec. 4th show in Chicago with The Fray and Colbie Callet. I can't wait! I hope the Fray fans will show him some love!
If he comes to Texas I will definitely go see him. I drove 4 1/2 hours to see him for 20 minutes at the American idol tour. Does anyone know if there will be an official fan club to join before he starts touring? My friend is in Jason Mraz's fan club and she gets really good pit tickets before they go on sale to the public. Also she gets something called jump the line passes with her ticket purchase so she can get into the venue 15 minutes before everyone else does. I would so pay to be in his fan club if we got perks like that.
@Scooter I don't think those are official tour dates. I think they would have announced the whole tour at one time, not just a few dates. I could be wrong, but I think they are just special non official concert dates ( like the bossom ball).
