Was traveling overseas so heard his performance on radio - which was awesome, but the videos were quickly up so was able to enjoy it again. Loved watching some of the videos that were taken by the crowd in the stands. They showed the crowd reaction and how Kris' soulful rendition stirred their patriotism. The people began joining in section by section until at the end almost the whole crowd was singing along. Great job, Kris!
I love Kris, this performance was good but I think he can be better. =]
Love, love, love your soulful rendition of National Anthem. Your renditions speaks for the song rather than you - no ornaments, but enough Kris nuances to stir the patriosm in listeners. Should take up offers to sing National Anthem more so from now.
By the way, when you go to South East Asia, remember to read the local cultures and ettiquette there. They love it much if you do some homework about their countries and maybe try singing some of the local fav songs - you'll get fans on fast lane that way. Your good heart and humbleness will be much appreciated there.
And do try to leave the guitar at least half of your performances, and maybe pick up the keyboard once a while to add variety to your performances.
Malaysia, Singapore & Philippines are summer throughout the year, so wear lightly, suffice if you only have your small white, black & grey Tshirts with your dark jeans.
Leave your grey pants you used in Miami Dolphin Games - not flattering, mate.
