Kris Gives Back to Music Empowers Foundation

Kris knows he wouldn't be where he is today without the music education he was fortunate enough to have growing up. That's why he's made it his personal mission to give back by ensuring that budding Idols everywhere have the same creative opportunities in music that he did.
Kris is working with Music Empowers, a private foundation that provides funding to nonprofit organizations to offer engaging and innovative music instruction to children communities where music education either does not exist or is underdeveloped. Recently Kris joined Music Empowers' founder Andy Davis along with Dr. Phil McGraw to announce a $100,000 grant to the Dr. Phil Foundation.

Kris, every time we think you can't get any sweeter then you already are, you go and kick it up a notch:) I love how you care about other people, and that fact, famous or not, will always push you foward in life. The thing I find really cool is that you'r different then some of those other stars who dont take the oppertunity to do a helpfull thing whale they can.When that happens, the words that come into my head are, "If your going to be famous, why not take that chance to help people? You keep getting more and more oppritunities, so why not take them?" You take them, and thats a really cool thing. I wish you could see all the joy it brings from a fans perspective:)

Thank you, Kris for having such a big heart and always wanting to help others. We absolutely L.O.V.E your passion for music. To: onerealfan, this is exactly what I wanted to say.
I, too was a participant in the music program in my school (from the 50's and 60's). I played French Horn from 4th grade through the first year of college. It is sad that in California the music programs in schools are disappearing rapidly.
Please help support Kris and this foundation so that the music education for our youth never stops.

Kris, I'm so happy that you are involved in this project. Music brings so much joy to people's lives! Your music especially has brought much joy to my life and gotten me through some difficult times. I love that you are vested in ensuring that music continues through future generations. Watching you grow as an artist over the past year has been inspirational and every budding musician should have the opportunity to blossom.
