I have never enjoyed American Idol in the past as much as I did this year. Kris is so very talented and comes across as being such a great person. Very touched with the Missionary work that he did. He is just so well rounded in so many facets.
I enjoyed listening to him perform each week on American Idol and watching him grow, I would have tears in my eyes most of the time. Kris looks so much like my son that died in 2004, so I immediately felt this connection to him. My son use to walk around all the time singing one of his favorite songs. I cheered and voted for Kris each week because I truely felt that he deserved to be in the top two. When Kris won, I cried until I thought I would never stop, I was so happy for Kris. Kris showed up every week to win working very hard. I know his parents and wife are very proud of him. I know I am even though he is not my son, I feel like Kris is a sign from above saying everything is really going to be ok.
I want to wish Kris a long healthy and happy career in music. I have bought all his music on iTunes, love it. I look forward to his CD coming out, I can't wait to buy and listen to it over and over.
Just finished watching your interview with Yahoo Music and i think it was one of the best interviews that you had. I realized how good a person you really are, also as a friend and husband and how devoted you are to your craft, your music.
I hope you had a blast during your bday especially that was your first bday as the winner of the American Idol. Good luck on your tour and you take care on the road. Can't wait to have your debut album. Love yah, kris awesome
Wow!!!!!! It is just so amazing how Kris is so religious and he thinks that there is no difference between people but we are all just people and just because we are Christians doesn't mean that we can't be friends with people with different. I know because one of my best friends is a Jehovah's Witness and that hasn't changed anything in our friendship. I love the way he talks it is so cool Gotta hand it to ya Kris you are the best even if you think you are not!

I know folks are irritated at the interviewer but I heard beforehand she was an Adam fan, it doesn't bother me any because she made an effort to draw out answers uniquely about Kris as well throughout. Plus he just handles these interviews brilliantly, besides. The interludes with Adam questions actually seemed an effort to strengthen the whole Kradam bond/phenomenon, to me. I also saw she had tweeted she was now team Kradam so I think it's cool. That's happening to a lot of fans from what I see, and it's good.
Kris really should know how diverse his fan base is also - not just the tweens, not at all. I'm no tween but I can turn into the biggest fangirl concerning Kris There are legions of us lol.
Really looking forward to 'Hey Jude' and I loved seeing how excited he is about that. That's going to be beautiful.
Kris Allen exudes sweet goodness and looks incredibly handsome in this interview. Love his personality and respect his musical abilities and smooth vocals. Cant wait for his debut CD in November!
When in God's name, however, will Kris be spared an interview that's not primarily about Adam? Part 1 video infuriated me. How incredibly insensitive and disrespectful and outrageous was the interviewer? *$^)_#@@@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She will hear from me.
Considering the interviewer, Kris did an amazing job, just being Kris. He is the sweetest, down to earth, talented and awesome artist I know. Can't wait for your cd, Kris and hope you know how much your fans love and adore you and your music. We are not all tweenies either. Loved your excitement about "Hey Jude".
Love his reaction when he his telling us that he will be singing 'Hey Jude'! So adorable! It should be awesome to see him sing that live. Bumming he won't be singing 'Falling Slowly', one of my faves!
Best interview so far is still the Idolatry interview with EW's Slezak. You can tell he was comfortablel there, and they spend a lot of time discussing bout his performances throughout the season, the finalists, his plans etc.
THIS interview had - an attempting-to-be-professional Adam fan trying to rile up Kris, how he SUPPOSEDLY won Idol, questioning (repeatedly) his humility, talking bout Adam/Kradam (a lot) and being a Christian etc. All 7 minutes plus into the first interview and she has not asked a SINGLE question about music or mention any of his performances which you know, could be among the reasons why he won idol.
No wonder she left a disclaimer that the second video clip will be more about the music. The only thing worth watching if you're a Kris fan who's mostly seen every interview out there is midway through the second clip when Kris revealed his song choice. Very adorable....

He was awesome at the opening AI concert in Portland! He is the REAL deal. Can't wait for the album to come out this fall!
