Vision of Love Remix!
Hi guys, I haven't commented here in forever - had to reset my password, lol - but I am crazy in love with the new Kris remix and I don't see a post about it? I really want to squee XD
I've had the Vision of Love remix on repeat for hours. I had no idea Kris was going to go in this direction, hadn't even imagined it, but I'm loving it so, so much. I'm assuming that this remix is just something to supplement his album but either way I am really happy it exists. I hope it's going to get released officially, or something like it will. If Kris puts out a remix EP in addition to his full-length album, I am so totally there for both of them.

Remixes like this will bring in new fans who ordinarily wouldn't be listening to Kris's music....this is exactly what all singers releasing a sophomore album need - an influx of new fans different from the KA fan norm of their first album....music with a wider appeal than what he already has done. Second albums always need to be new and different and that shot in the arm that propels them beyond where they were with the first album...gonna be exciting this year!
Count me to the ranks of those obsessed with this remix. I've been listening to the two remix versions almost nonstop since they were leaked. Kris's beautiful falsetto pulls me right in and the beat gets me boppin'.
I've read lots of positive responses to this all over in the internet, many from people who have never really listened to any of Kris's music before - everyone seems to love it!
I really hope that there will be plans to sell and promote airplay for some variation of the remix worked on by this Maison & Dragen group. It really makes me want to dance and would love to hear it in clubs and on pop radio stations that play a lot of dance music.

I am with ChrisLA on the fact that I didn't care for the music at first. The intro was too blaring and too long. Once they shortened it and I got to hear Kris' beautiful voice, especially that falsetto, I kept loving it more and more. I too keep bopping my head to the beat and the music. Love the words, the melody, everything. Kris is amazing. Just when you think you have him figured out...he drops another fireball. He's constantly surprising us.
I cannot wait to hear the final edit (M&D tweeted it would blow us away) and the pop version. I hope RCA releases both so that everyone can enjoy.

I'm late weighing in on the remix. When I first heard it, I was turned off on the length and long lead in music. But then Kris sings and his voice soars. I love the lyrics. I love the sound. His falsetto is flawless.
I also sprained my neck from listening to it too many times and bopping my head to it. Oops.
I've spent the last couple days reading music blogs around the net about the remix. Across the board, and around the world, people are going crazy for it.
When Kris was on AI, I thought his name was 'Kris AllenIsDoingWhat?' He continues to surprise and amaze.

This is a great song! Kris vocals on this song are unbelievable! I can't wait for new music, judging from this song and other new songs we heard, it is going to be amazing album.

Long time - no post!
So I just heard the remix last night & have been listening to it on repeat all day today! He has one of the strongest voices for a male artist IMO. I LOVE how intense his vocals are in the chorus.
If this is the first single, I'm REALLY interested in hearing the original & I'm HOPING that this is sent to clubs & they really make an effort to cross promote the music.
I'm seeing the remix mentioned a lot of places around the internet, which is exciting. I've seen people blogging about it on tumblr and lots of people talking about it on twitter as well. <3
I also really like it. Kris sounds great, I love the lyrics and I am very curious how the non-remix version sounds like.
I think that a remix EP is a great idea. I can't wait to hear more new songs.
Add me to the ranks of the obsessed, I cannot get enough of this remix! Kris' VOICE, omg, and the way it just fits so perfectly with the beat. Please tell me that there are plans to promote this in some fashion because it would KILL in the clubs.
LOL, random people on the street have probably heard my rants about how versatile Kris is and how stupid it is to try to pigeon-hole him into any one genre, but this remix proves my point perfectly, and I really hope that an EP is being considered to drive this point home to as many music fans as possible.

'm with you cirq. I'm excited to hear all of Kris's new music, but the remix is the best surprise of 2012 so far! His voice is gorgeous - so unmistakably Kris. I can't stop listening to it!
