...I don't like this new version as much as the original. I enjoy Pat Monahan's voice when singing with Train, but it doesn't seem to fit well with this song. Also, the bridge is my favorite part of the original song, and having Pat sing that instead of Kris was quite jarring to hear. I don't know what this new version was made for but, since you're asking for feedback, I'd prefer that the original or acoustic versions be used for whatever the intended purpose of this version was.

Okay, I love Kris and have been following his career, and have listened to his album so many times I've lost count. So, I thought maybe I was just not used to the new version, and that's the reason that I VERY STRONGLY DISLIKE IT. But, I just played your new version for some friends/family members who have never heard the original version, and they also REALLY DO NOT LIKE IT. They were thrown by the same things that a lot of others here are complaining about - it's very jarring to hear Pat's voice come out of nowhere, and it lacks emotional connection.
