I KNEW Kris was going to win!!! Even though my family and most of my friends thought Adam was going to win, I never gave up on Kris. Then when he won I was happy and felt like telling my family "I TOLD YOU SO"!!! Congratulations Kris you totally deserved it!!! week by week I voted for you and was on edge each elimination but you always made it through and I got more excited by the week. When Ryan said that you won, it was like fireworks exploded inside of me. I started screaming and crying all at the same time!! i can't pick a favorite performance on Idol because I loved them ALL!!! The one thing I saw in you was that you were always so humble and never changed who you were during the season. This was my first season of watching Idol all the way through and I'm glad you were the first Idol I voted for and got to see the start of your career!!! I can't wait for like 30 years in the future and I pull out your first cd, and say "I remember when he won American Idol" and my kids will say "Oh you mean the dude who still sings great even though hes like 50"? I'll be like "Yep" then they will be all excited and jumping around like crazy!! As you can see., I love to tell stories!! I live in Houston, AR (next town over from Conway) and I used to work at Walmart. I never actually met Kris Allen, but I am sure that I checked him out at Walmart many times. I have also attended New Life Church a couple of times and seen him sing with the music ministry. I was a part of his homecoming, where I waited all day long just to get up front at the stage. I am really proud of Kris and hope that he will come and do a concert for us soon.
